Build your credit recovery plan

This tool turns account status, cash runway, report problems, balances, and application timing into a priority queue with evidence checks and stop conditions. It does not estimate a score.

Create an explained credit recovery priority board after missed payments, collections, bankruptcy, report errors, bank denial, or high card balances.

Mark the files on your desk

Choose every situation that needs work. Each choice adds a different evidence file, priority rule, and next guide.

Can the payment system hold?

These answers decide whether the plan protects cash and open accounts before addressing older records.

Measure balance pressure

Card totals are optional. When supplied, the desk shows the current reported-ratio math and dollar reductions for two planning thresholds.

Choose the next decision

This does not override an urgent risk. It breaks ties after essential bills and open accounts are protected.

How the control board is calculated

The desk does not use a hidden score or approval model. It assigns precedence to user-selected facts: essential-risk deadlines, open accounts that are not current, a thin cash runway, unverified claims, specific report errors, revolving-balance pressure, and only then a new application. Each output card names the reason, completion evidence, and relevant guide.

How the balance math works

When you enter card balances and limits, the tool divides total balances by total limits. It also shows how many dollars would place that total below 30% and below 10%. Those are transparent planning markers, not universal scoring cutoffs or promised score gains. The utilization target worksheet explains statement timing and cash protection in more detail.

Privacy and limits

No planner field asks for a name, Social Security number, account number, creditor name, or email. The calculation runs in JavaScript. Optional saving uses localStorage on this device; clear it with “Clear and rebuild.”

Use records, not guesses

If an account is late, confirm its actual status with the servicer and use the missed-payment clock and cure checklist. If a report field looks wrong, follow the field-by-field report audit before disputing it. A qualified attorney or counselor is more appropriate when a court, foreclosure, repossession, or legal-status question is involved.

Credit recovery planner questions

Does the planner predict my credit score?

No. It prioritizes controllable actions such as account status, report accuracy, balances, cash buffer, and application pace.

How does the planner decide what comes first?

It places essential-risk deadlines first, then open accounts and cash stability, verified record problems, balance pressure, and finally optional new credit. Every result states why it received its position and what evidence completes it.

How is the revolving balance calculation made?

The tool divides the total card balances entered by the total card limits entered. It shows the dollar reduction needed to move below two planning markers, but it does not promise a score result.

Are my answers sent to again.you?

No. The planner runs in your browser. Optional saving uses local storage on your device.
